before security glass pool tables were free
and this pool table was one of the smarter ones before someone thought people would enjoy having to inject currency into a slot in order to have access to the balls that could so easily have been just there to grab before the glass came around. a noble way to pay for the pool table, but just get some friend to run for state senate and then grant your bar some cash to buy new games.

stupid monster truck
i was excited to make my toyota all latin and i dropped the 'e' that i was going to put at the end and a huntington beach metal mulitia (spelling is correct unfortunately) hulking beast was driving in a hulking beast of a lifted truck that cost him $46,000 and he drove my letter 'e' into the dried pavement. i was thinking that he could help me do some cool imprints but he was already on his way to buy tickets to jonathan from korn's solo tour.
another tribute to the vague nostalgia for stuff that didn't work as well

this land camera sure has looked great on my shelf since i bought it, but never has it looked so good as it does in its role as subject since it certainly isn't capable of functioning as a medium. my appreciation for the past came full circle when i uploaded the photo from the digital macro lens of a camera, and saw this photo that was so much better than anything that the camera being photographed could have done on its best day. its like my baby theory (babies aren't that smart).
paint in the atrium
this is another shot from that same bird...he had some back issues from last time so we just set the timer and taped the camera to his belly. i almost had to shoot the bird with a tranq dart to get him to hold still, but finally he asked for one more chance and besides the PETA helicopter was watching. this is the stuff that was left over from the 98% complete paint job. it can't go back in the garage yet because we have been trying to get the courage and motivation to do the last 2% for almost 2 years.
long exposure you light up my life
another poodle undergoing freezer therapy
this time it is legolas. alright before you call your dad at PETA no poodles were hurt or killed or eaten. they just wanted in the fridge so bad that we thought that they might like the freezer. they thawed within 48 hours. i wasn't worried because the same thing happened with our turtle when we were young, and poodles are cold-blooded too. well not cold-blooded so much as warm-blooded, but they aren't hot-blooded. ok PETA we are still joking so don't do a fake horse blood helicopter drop on my house to prove to me where glue comes from. i don't even use glue so you have the wrong house.
time for the shock collar
not hard to figure out what's going on here. share this photo with your aunt so she can send it to her co-workers. they will think its neat. don't tell them that this poodle was put in timeout in the freezer and then was forgotten during football. we were able to sell him to the cryogenics drive thru snack bar though so that's cool.
not to laugh at their expense, but they started to laugh at themselves first
when people fall off of a cot and don't break a neck or rupture any internal organs, it just makes everything seem so right. the getting on a cot followed by the flipping and/or snapping of the cot is so timeless, and so completely bound to happen that you realize that the inventor of the cot only invented it as a joke on humanity.
no polaroid left behind
with our nation facing an impending analog crisis in which all things tangible are ignored for the sake of one free ticket to the singular consciousness of google, we decided to take one moment to remember what our parents used to do - pay way too much money for film, unless you count the thrill of knowing that you are a purist, which is priceless. until a week or a month or a year later when you look back at how naive you were (i was/am). but its good for the soul, even if the natural progression of those thoughts of social activism and free food for everyone ultimately lead to frustration. its hard to get motivated to make food for anyone when you have the right to just go get it for free from someone else. we need a bit more of a galt's gulch approach...opt out of using the highest possible level of intellect which will be exploited inevitably, and enjoy cooking eggs.
poodles + paint = chaos
can you tell which of the poodles likes paint and was more festive this past halloween? that's right, rocco. legolas doesn't really do more than a pumpkin collar usually. he wears a bow tie for Christmas. I have nothing to do with the purchase of poodle accessories, but I'm not going to say that a grown man can't love a poodle in a bow tie.

in remembrance of this tree...
which was duly lit on fire by one particular hooligan in S.F. in honor of New Years 2007. We will call him P.
